Print of a detailed illustrated map hand drawn by Harry M. Strickler of Luray, Virginia. It is a diagram of his and his wife Virginia Garber Cole Strickler's estate, Rosemary Mont, along with whimsical natural history drawings and annotations on the flora and fauna of the area. Animals shown include domestic farm animals and many native birds. Local trees are identified with drawings of their leaves. Strickler copied nature poems and interspersed them along the map. Color may be hand applied.
At the lower right corner of the map Stricker wrote in ink, "Flora and Fauna join in sending Christmas Greetings. Virginia and Harry."
In brown wooden frame under glass.
