Scope & Content Sermon notes written, compiled and used by Brethren minister and Bridgewater College founder, Daniel Christian "D. C." Flory. The notes are housed loose in a brown leather cover made from a book's cover. There is a leaf at the front on Self Examination. Many of the other notes are folded with the topic of the sermon written on the outside top edge for reference. The notes are written in pen and pencil on various papers. Some papers are ruled. The many sermon topics include subjects such as How to know God, Good and Evil in Communion, Transfiguration, Many Mansions, A Devout Man, Nonconformity, and 5 Names of Christ.
