Grouping of black and white 8 by 10 inch movie publicity stills collected by Bridgewater College librarian Agnes Kline, circa 1930s - 1950s. The collection focuses on films based on literary themes. Included are groups of stills from the following films: The Adventures of Robin Hood (1938), Wuthering Heights (1939), Knights of the Round Table (1953), David Copperfield (1935), Romeo and Juliet (1936) and Pride and Prejudice (1940). These materials were issued as publicity for films by their Hollywood studios. Includes two original envelopes sent to Kline from Motion Picture Producers and Distributors of America, Inc. There are also a few photographs of individual actors that are unassociated with particular motion pictures.
Also included is a packet of King Arthur/ Camelot material collected by Kline.
