Description Mary Alice Phillips' Bridgewater College (Bridgewater, Va.) Quartet Key. The pendant, or key, as it was called, is a small gold shield with a decorative rod design extending slightly from the top and bottom. The top becomes a loop with an attached metal ring, allowing the pendant to be strung. The front of the shield has a small raised harp and vine design at the top, underneath of which is the raised lettering, "QUARTET B.C." The backside is smooth with the engraved inscription "M.A.P." Under this is "'54."
