Description Turned piece of ebony wood for display. An older paper label is taped to the item. Older inventory note reads, "... carved ebony wood. It is 2 1/2" tall and the base measures 1 1/2" across. It is carved into three sections. The word "ebony" is written on a piece of tape attached to the wood. A paper is also attached to it which reads: Ebony wood from Africa given to Nettie Senger by Clara Harper. It with teke wood are the hardest woods.
