Description Inked printing block for what was likely the earliest printed literature to advertise The Spring Creek Normal School, which later became Bridgewater College (Bridgewater, Va.) This engraving plate printed the second page of the pamphlet. Sections of the page were Expenses, Sessions and Vacations and Text Books. Metal plate is mounted on a wooden block which is stamped "BRETHREN PUB."
