|Description||Betel nut cutter from India. Made of two pieces of cast and polished brass hinged together at the top in caliper fashion. On one of the two side pieces, a sharpened steel blade has been inset into the brass. The other side has serrations opposing the blade. Stamped into the blade piece are the words "RAMJI, GIRDHARTAT DAMNARAP". The name "Roop" is inked on the hinge.|
