Description Wooden figural nutcracker, carved in the shape of an old man's head. He wears a nightcap. Possibly a representation of Ebenezer Scrooge. Chin lowers to crack nut in mouth. Double thick handles. From earlier inventory note: The approximate date is 1890-93. It belonged to a William E. King of Baltimore, MD, and was probably bought when he was a young man. On the back of the handle is carved: "BALE."
