Description Small folding paper hand fan on a wooden frame. The white paper is printed with black Japanese characters and some Western calendar dates. Printed on both sides.

Translated by Dr. Yuka H. Kishida, the writing describes successive masters of the major houses which continue to dedicate themselves to the practice of the "Way of Tea"

Following the list of masters on the reverse of the fan, there is a list of Japanese era names with their beginning years in the Western calendar.
