Description Black leather shoe. Left. Black metal hooks for laces. Black laces. Beige canvas inside. Steel arch support. Leather sole. Hard plastic heel marked, "CUPPLES TOUGH AS A RHINO." Partly laced. Rockingham County, Virginia native, teacher and educator, Isaac Newton Harvey Beahm was wearing these shoes when he was killed in an automobile accident near Martinsville, Virginia on November 11, 1950. He was an alumn of Bridgewater College.
