Administrative files assembled and used by Ralph MacPhail Jr., Bridgewater College (Bridgewater, Va.) Class of 1965 and Bridgewater College faculty member from 1972 - 2005.

The majority of the papers are files compiled and used by MacPhail, detailing projects, people and administrative matters during his work at Bridgewater College. They include correspondence from former students, materials on MacPhail's 2008 donation of Pinion Player archives and production books to the Bridgewater College Special Collections, teaching materials and Ramond Nelson Andes obituary and eulogy materials. There is one folder of circa 1964 student produced theatre material in which MacPhail was involved. The papers also include a CD copy of Neil Herchenrother and Mark Szafranski's production, I Always Come Back to My Virginia. Another folder has information on the MacPhail Revue, an alumni production that honored MacPhail at his 2005 retirement from Bridgewater College.

In 2022, MacPhail contributed material from a social gathering that he attempted to form for Bridgewater College's retired faculty and staff. This material was added to his papers along with an explanatory note by the creator.
