Large blue album with swamp scene in gold on front cover. Flyleaf stamped, "PRIVATE LIBRARY S.A. SANGER Meyerhoeffer's Store, [Rockingham County] Virginia." Botanicals pressed inside. Annotated in ink with 1885 dates. From earlier inventory note: collection of wildflowers and flowers of various plants. It was probably done for a biology class project -- in 1885 (April and May, 1885). |
