These files were created and maintained by Beth Glick- Rieman during her work as Person Awareness Coordinator for the Church of the Brethren, mostly during the 1970s and 1980s. Glick-Rieman was based in Bridgewater, Va. As Person Awareness Coordinator, Glick-Rieman worked with women's issues, women's theology and social justice. She was also a leader in experimental theology. Much of her work at this time was with the Church of the Brethren Women. Materials include transcripts of presentations, correspondence, notes, records, programs and handouts. Included is the administrative file for a July 1977 theological event for women held at Bridgewater College (Bridgewater, Va.) It was called Bridgewater College Theological Happening.
